Labor warranty coverage depends on the outdoor unit model installed.

Premium Systems

The following Premium Systems include a 10-Year Labor Protection Plan:

  • EODA19H**
  • ERDA19H**

Standard Systems

The following Standard Systems include 90-Day Labor Coverage by default:

  • EODA18H** – eligible for $299 5-Year Monitoring Upgrade
  • EODA17H** – eligible for $299 5-Year Monitoring Upgrade
  • ESCA16H** – not eligible for monitoring upgrades
  • ESDA17H** – not eligible for monitoring upgrades

Eligible Standard Systems may purchase the optional 10-Year Labor Protection Plan for $599 within 60 days of installation.

Coverage eligibility varies by model and requires proper system registration.

What is the 10-Year Labor Protection Plan?

The Ecoer 10-Year Labor Protection Plan provides extended labor coverage for eligible systems beyond the standard labor warranty period.

The plan is:

  • Included with qualifying Premium Systems
  • Available as an optional purchase for eligible Standard Systems
  • Required to be purchased within 60 days of installation

The 10-Year Labor Protection Plan is administered through Trinity Warranty and applies only to eligible registered systems.

Do all Ecoer systems qualify for labor protection and monitoring services?

No. Eligibility for labor protection and Smart Monitoring services depends on the outdoor unit model.

Different Ecoer systems may have different:

  • Labor coverage periods
  • Monitoring eligibility
  • Upgrade options
  • Registration requirements

What Smart Monitoring coverage is included with my system?

Smart Monitoring coverage varies by system type.

Standard Systems

Note:
SDi models (ESCA16H**, ESDA17H**) are not eligible for monitoring upgrades.

Premium Systems

  • 3-Year Smart Monitoring

Optional Upgrade:

Can I add extended labor protection and monitoring services later?

Yes, eligible systems may add optional coverage upgrades within the required enrollment period.

Labor protection and monitoring services are offered separately and may have different eligibility requirements.

How do I register my Ecoer system for warranty coverage?

To maintain eligible warranty coverage and labor protection benefits:

  • The system must be registered within 60 days of installation
  • Registration must be completed through the Ecoer warranty registration process. For smart-enabled systems, registration through ESS PRO with an active gateway is required.
  • Eligible systems require an Ecoer Monitoring Module / Gateway

Failure to complete registration may result in reduced warranty coverage and loss of labor protection eligibility.

Can I purchase the 10-Year Labor Protection Plan after 60 days?

No. The 10-Year Labor Protection Plan must be purchased within 60 days of installation for eligible systems.

Coverage cannot be added after the enrollment period expires.

Which Ecoer systems qualify for monitoring upgrades?

Monitoring upgrade eligibility depends on the outdoor unit model.

Some Standard Systems qualify for optional monitoring upgrades, while SDi models (ESCA16H**, ESDA17H**) are not eligible for monitoring upgrades.

Is an Ecoer Gateway or Monitoring Module required?

Yes. For smart-enabled systems, an Ecoer Monitoring Module/Gateway is required for ESS PRO registration and Smart Monitoring services.

The gateway is also required for eligible labor protection enrollment and monitoring functionality.


What happens if my system is not registered?

Failure to register the system within 60 days of installation may result in:

  • Reduced warranty coverage
  • Loss of eligibility for labor protection benefits
  • Ineligibility for certain monitoring services

To ensure full eligible coverage, registration should be completed promptly through the ESS PRO App.
